FAQS

INDOOR CYCLING
How early should I get to the studio?
We recommend fifteen minutes before class. If you are interested in heart rate monitor training, 20 minutes.  If you would like to use one of our heart rate monitors, we recommend you download the Wahoo fitness app before arriving.
How tough is the class?
We encourage everyone to go at their own pace.  The great thing about indoor cycling is different ages and fitness levels can work out in same room. We are here to encourage progress!
What kind of bikes do you have?
We have twenty Star Trac Studio 7 bikes that feature belt drive and SPD pedals (two hole) with toe cages.
Do you rent SPD cleats?
No. Not hygienic in our opinion.
What do I bring when I come to the studio to do indoor cycling?
Water bottle and tennis shoes if you don’t have cleats. We provide towel service and have a water dispenser. We also have cubbies if you would like to store your items. We are not responsible for lost or stolen items inside the studio.
Do you have showers?
No. We have two restrooms (one is large enough to use as a changing room).
Do you have childcare?
No, we do not.
What is your minimum age?
We require all riders to be age of 14 or older. Any rider under age of 18 needs a parents or guardians permission. All riders need to sign a waiver.
BOXING/KICKBOXING
What should I bring?
Please bring a water bottle. We provide towel service and boxing gloves with quick wraps.
What shoes should I wear?
Regular tennis shoes or socks in studio, whichever is more comfortable.
Will I get hurt?
As with any physical activity, there is always a chance of getting injured. However, our boxing/kickboxing class is NOT a sparring class. You are never directly hitting anyone in the face/body. We have boxing bags, a wall mount, kicking shield, thai pads, and mits that will be used for direct contact.
What should I expect from this class?
You should expect to learn proper technique, get in a great sweat, and most importantly, learn self defense.
